CFPC Shines Again in CQP Exams with 100% Success Rate

This year, once again, the CFPC (Centre de Formation Professionnelle en Construction) has excelled in the CQP (Certificat de Qualification Professionnelle) exams. All 26 candidates, including 4 young women, successfully passed their CQP exams. Since its inception, CFPC has maintained a tradition of achieving a 100% pass rate in both CQP and BQP (Brevet de Qualification Professionnelle) exams. This remarkable success is attributed to our dedicated partners and mentors who wholeheartedly support these disadvantaged youth, helping them learn a trade and apply their skills in practice.

CFPC is not just a vocational training center; it is a program affiliated with both international and local partners, aimed at helping young people and women from underprivileged backgrounds learn a trade in the construction field for free and easily enter the world of decent and sustainable employment.

By October this year, CFPC will further equip existing departments and open new ones in aluminum joinery and upholstery. Additionally, we will venture into green and sustainable construction trades. Our goal is to teach rural young people and women about eco-friendly construction, particularly the production of compressed earth bricks and the construction of homes using these bricks made from local materials. Step by step, we aim to include training in domestic plumbing and wastewater recycling, as well as the installation of solar energy systems, by mid-2025.

We strive to involve as many vulnerable girls and women from rural areas as possible, providing them with opportunities in these green and sustainable construction trades, which are traditionally male-dominated fields, despite the female population being larger. Since we started training women and girls, they have proven to be more resilient, quick learners, and highly disciplined.

All of this is possible because our partners believe in us and our program to train disadvantaged individuals for decent and sustainable employment.
