Outstanding Achievements: CFPC Students’ Success Story in Youth Empowerment and Skills Development

We are thrilled to announce the outstanding achievements of CFPC students in this year’s National examination for the Professional Qualification Certificate. Out of over 400 participants in Plateau-central, CFPC proudly presented 44 talented individuals who all passed with flying colors!

The dedication and hard work of our students have paid off, demonstrating their immense potential and readiness for the workforce. I am especially proud of the six exceptional young women who have shattered barriers and excelled in traditionally male-dominated trades. They are an inspiration to all.

The journey to success was not an easy one. CFPC students, accompanied by their dedicated instructors, traveled 80 kilometers from Bousse to participate in the exams. The exams, comprising both theoretical and practical components, spanned eight intense days. During this time, the students had to stay away from their families and the center, demonstrating their commitment and determination to excel in their chosen trades.

CFPC’s comprehensive two-year training program, offered free of charge, has been a lifeline for many of its students. Coming from disadvantaged backgrounds and facing financial challenges, CFPC’s support went beyond technical training. Throughout their training, the students received daily lunches, safety equipment, access to medical treatment, and accommodation for those living far from the center. These provisions ensured that they could fully focus on their studies and prepare for a brighter future.

The Professional Qualification Certificate is more than just a credential; it opens doors to employment opportunities and economic independence for our graduates. We are honored to have played a part in transforming the lives of these exceptional individuals, many of whom came from disadvantaged backgrounds or were school dropouts.
